I need some help. I’m using Nokia N97 from Thailand ones there was some problem about connect to Ovi from my cell phone. First I thought the problem occur because of my Ovi account, so I designed to cancel Ovi account and re-create a new one, but the problem occur when I try to created a new account. I can not create the new Ovi account(I can create my nokia account, but I can not create Ovi account) can someone help me with this problem.

I can’t log in to OVI Store until 2 weeks. Every time that I try, the system reply with this message error:
“We’re sorry.
The Nokia Account authentication system is currently down. Please try again later. We apologize for the inconvenience.”
The OVI Store website don’t have any link to Support or Contact. Please, can anyone help with this problem?

Hi,iv’e download the new ovi store application to my phone N73,it took over the old download application situated between my 2 browsers on phone=in internet folder,but when i try to assess the Ovi store it keeps on telling me that the site is under maintanance!,that was 3 days ago,still giving same message!,something is wrong here,please help!,thank you,Chris
I cant’t access to ovi store from my cell phone, the system replay that its on maintence. I have a Nokia 5530 and I’m from Mexico.
Tony, Chris and Carlos, This is Eric here from the Ovi Store team. Our sincere apologies for the trouble you’re having logging in. I’ve forwarded this thread over to our support team. The best thing to do is to go the support site at http://www.ovi.com/services/support/care and tell them the times that you tried logging in (try logging in one more time now, just to make sure it’s not a network / connectivity problem, which can often be the case). If you‘re still unable to get on to the service, then log a case (they’re set up to diagnose these and they use this case info to systematically root out problems. Be sure to note, as Carlos did above, your Nokia device model and the country that you’re in. They’ll also need your carrier (identified on your SIM card), and again the time / date you tried logging in. If you don’t hear back from Ovi Support in a day or two, post a note back here (I check the boards a couple of times a day) and we’ll get someone connected with you. More later – Eric
like others I keep getting the “The Nokia Account authentication system is currently down”. Have done for the last 48 hours. I get signed in OK I know this as it greets with me “welcome my name”, but every time I try to down load something (using a PC not the ‘phone) I get this failure message.
I suspect the whole OVI thing may be going t*ts up, as there are very few original applications on offer…compared to the i-phone. Many are very similar applications doing the same job. Over all not that impressive, shame as I have just bought

Hi, I just recently purchased a Nokia N97 and I tried to use Ovi store straight from my mobile. I was able to download a few applications, but after that, the application download keeps on failing. Why is that? Is there a limited number of applications that I can only download? Please please help me, I really want to maximize the use of the applications available on my mobile. Thanks.

I want to download apps from the Ovi store, but it requires you to log in. I have created an account and I’ve logged on using my laptop, but when I send the app to the phone I never recieve it. Also, when I use the Ovi store app download that came on the phone I am unable to log on. It just keeps saying that username and/or password invalid. I have confirmed that the password and username is valid, but still no luck. PLEASE HELP. Thanks. Dustin

Hey, I download some apps for my nokia N97, but I Reset and erase my phone including the apps, i’ve been trying to get my apps back by downloading them again but the download option is not longer available for me, what can i do?

At least I’m not alone in being unable to download apps. I was thinking about getting an iphone but went for the N97. Looks like I made the wrong choice!
When I try to log in from my mobile I get what it appears a lot of other people are getting. A message about the authenication system being down. Yet I can log in from my PC. But I can’t download apps to my PC.
Get this sorted out Nokia. It’s pathetic!
